This production of Suzie Miller's internationally acclaimed monologue takes a highly site-specific approach by staging the performance inside an actual functioning courtroom—the Schwurgerichtssaal of the Landesgericht Innsbruck. By removing the play from a traditional theatrical proscenium and placing it in a real hall of justice, the production deliberately blurs the lines between reality and narrative. The staging aims to make the structural gaps and claims of objectivity within the legal system viscerally apparent to the audience.
