Prima Facie is a one-woman play by Suzie Miller, presented at the Aquarium studio of Staatstheater Braunschweig in a staging by Lilian Thode. Thode, an assistant director at the theatre, makes her directorial debut for the Braunschweig audience with this production. The German version is by Anne Rabe. The design is by Victoria Reibe, musical accompaniment by Fridtjof Bundel, spatial design by Wolf Gutjahr, and dramaturgy by Eva Bode. The sole performer on stage is Lina Witte as lawyer Tessa Ensler. The theatre recommends the courtroom drama for ages 14 and up and includes a content note for depictions of sexualized and psychological violence as well as scenes of self-harm and vomiting; audience members may leave the auditorium quietly at any time. The running time is approximately 1 hour 40 minutes without intermission. Following its premiere on 22 November 2025, the production returns in the 2026/27 season with the same creative team.
