State Opera Plovdiv presents a staging of the classic Broadway musical My Fair Lady, bringing to life the beloved story of transformation and social class. The production features a creative team led by director Nina Naidenova and choreographer Boryana Sechanova, with musical direction by Vladimir Boshnakov for the premiere. The creative team also includes Konstantin Dobroykov, Elitsa Georgieva, and Nikolina Kostova-Bogdanova. The staging embraces the timeless appeal of the original Broadway hit, which famously won eight Academy Awards when adapted into the 1964 film starring Audrey Hepburn. The production highlights the comedic and touching dynamics between the characters, set against the backdrop of iconic musical numbers such as Wouldn't It Be Loverly, With a Little Bit of Luck, and I Could Have Danced All Night.
