This new production of Mozart’s final opera seria is staged by Chiara Muti, who also oversees the dramaturgy, with music director Ottavio Dantone leading the Orchestra Haydn of Bolzano and Trento. Sets are by Alessandro Camera, costumes by Tommaso Lagattolla, and lighting by Vincent Longuemare. Choral forces are provided by the Cathedral Choir of Siena Guido Chigi Saracini, prepared by chorus master Lorenzo Donati. The show forms part of a wider Italian tour in the 2026/27 season, retaining the core creative team while featuring some cast changes at different tour stops. The Trento performances are presented within the Fondazione Haydn’s 2026/27 Opera Season at the Teatro Sociale in Trento.
