About this event

The production is a two-act ballet based on Jane Austen's novel. It follows Elizabeth Bennet and Fitzwilliam Darcy as their perceptions change, examining pride, prejudice, class, family status, marriage and social pressure. Leo Mujić is director and choreographer, with design by Stefano Katunar, Manuela Paladin Šabanović and Aleksandar Čavlek, and dramaturgical and assistant-choreography work by Bálint Rauscher. The score is a sequence of named selections by Vaughan Williams, Parry, Elgar, Warlock, Purcell and Handel.
