Miracle On 34th Street: A Live Musical Radio Play

This is New Village Arts' 2024 holiday production of a musical radio-play adaptation by Lance Arthur Smith. It presents the familiar holiday story in the style of a 1940s or golden-age radio broadcast, using live Foley and sound effects, an announcer/Foley artist, ensemble performers, and original songs and arrangements by Jon Lorenz. Faith Carrion and Kay Marian McNellen co-directed the production; E.Y. Washington provided musical direction and Luke H. Jacobs choreography. The production also includes scenic design by Michael Wogulis, lighting design by Annelise Salazar, sound design by Evan Eason, stage management by Nathan Waits, assistant stage management and props by Madison Mercado, costume design by Janet Pitcher, and assistant costume design by Liberty-Belle Garza-Omae.
