For the first dance evening on the Main Stage, Marcel Leemann and Caroline Finn place the body at the center: at times as an empty shell, at times as a dwelling for mind and soul, at times as a prestige object. The production unites two distinct choreographic signatures in a double bill that explores the physical and metaphysical dimensions of the human body. Caroline Finn approaches these spaces and themes with a darkly humorous sensibility. The combination of an imposing set design with a rich soundtrack lends the work a cinematic aesthetic and invites the audience to lose themselves in the danced images.
