Passing Remark

About

Passing Remark is an outdoor music production built around a new work for an XXL brass ensemble. The performance takes place in Westerpark around the sculpture Dragers van verre, creating a living soundscape through which visitors can walk, get lost, and explore. Hildur Guðnadóttir directs the project. Students from Conservatorium van Amsterdam, Royal Conservatory The Hague, and Codarts Rotterdam perform together with Het Muziek, with coaching by Arthur Kerklaan and Koen Kaptijn. The production is part of the Exploratorium series and is presented three times on 21 June 2026 with free admission.
