In the German-speaking theater and film landscape, you can't ignore his name: Lars Eidinger. No wonder that Anna Prohaska has chosen the charismatic actor as a counterpart for her preoccupation with Shakespeare's fascinating Ophelia character. The unhappy lover has inspired many composers to musical arguments, especially in the field of song composition. Anna Prohaska's personal selection of songs, which was specially arranged for the concert with the Potsdam Chamber Academy for voice and string quartet, meets Shakespeare's original text. A complex dialogue develops between Ophelia and Hamlet - a dialogue between love and suffering, hope and despair, reason and madness.
