Uns Fritzing is a new musical theatre piece by Peter Schanz, commissioned by the Fritz-Reuter-Bühne of the Mecklenburgisches Staatstheater. Framed as a “Fritz-Reuter-Kuddelmuddel” with lots of music, Tina Landgraf provides the Low German text. Developed with the Junges Staatstheater Parchim, the work celebrates and interrogates the Mecklenburg author Fritz Reuter — prankster, democrat, and a man struggling with alcoholism — through a lively mix of theatre and song.
