Now in its twenty-first edition under the artistic direction of Maestro Piero Romano, the Magna Grecia Festival is curated by the Orchestra della Magna Grecia in collaboration with the Municipality of Taranto and the Italian Navy. The 31 July 2024 concert “TIEMPO ’E VELENO,” staged on the Island of San Pietro, features Neapolitan singer-songwriter Enzo Gragnaniello alongside guitarist Martino De Cesare and drummer Marco Caligiuri with the Orchestra ICO della Magna Grecia conducted by Piero Romano. The event marks a new chapter in Gragnaniello’s collaboration with the orchestra, following the previous joint project “Viento ’e terra” (a tribute to Pino Daniele), and serves as the live preview of the album “Tiempo ’e veleno,” released on 26 June 2026. The initiative aims to offer residents and visitors high-quality cultural experiences in landmark sites of the area, with the festival direction thanking the Italian Navy for hosting on the Island of San Pietro.
