A two-artist concert featuring vocalist Costanza Savarese and pianist Emanuele Arciuli. Framed as a contemporary-art recital, the program moves between William Duckworth’s hypnotic Time Curve Preludes, his five-song set Simple Songs About Sex and War, and voice–piano reworkings of three rock songs. The evening explores time, pulse, and stylistic cross‑pollination: Duckworth’s writing keeps a steady beat that touches rock, jazz, and world music, while Connor Chee’s Navajo Vocables expands the piano’s rhythmic language. To close, the duo reimagines Depeche Mode’s Personal Jesus, Nina Hagen’s Naturträne, and Guns N’ Roses’ Welcome to the Jungle. The production casts the modern era as a theatre of tension between civilization and dystopia; vocal elaborations are credited to Savarese and the piano transcriptions to Furio Valitutti.
