Noise Is a Queer Space presents an immersive concert-installation by Luxa M. Schüttler that becomes both a sonic parcours and a social playground for exploring sound from queer perspectives. An array of snare drums opens up heterogeneous sound fields where pop-cultural echoes surface. Advisory: the concert features high sound pressure levels, artificial fog and strobe effects. The fluid, provisional setup blurs the boundaries between composition, installation and free play. The result is an acoustic group selfie: queer, solidaristic, personal, hedonistic.
