Partita is an orchestral concert in the Sanssouci-Konzert series, presented by Kammerakademie Potsdam with Trevor Pinnock as conductor. The program combines Bach's Partita No. 5 in G major in Thomas Oehler's arrangement for small orchestra, Honegger's Symphony No. 2, and Haydn's Symphony No. 92 in G major, known as "Oxford." Bach's work is presented in a newly reimagined form, followed by Honegger's interwoven sound worlds and a refined chorale modeled on Bach. Haydn's symphony is characterized by lightness and transparency, with its Adagio highlighted as one of his best-known symphonic movements. The concert has no theatrical staging and takes place in the Friedenskirche in Schlosspark Sanssouci.
