Gil Kofman’s Leni’s Last Lament is a one-woman play presented by River Rep Theatre in residence at the Delaware Valley Opera Center (Huntington Hall), Lake Huntington, NY, August 4–6, 2023. OBIE Award–winner Jodie Markell stars, directed by Richard Caliban. Tickets were $30 via MyRiverTickets. The piece paints a sharp, darkly comic portrait of controversial filmmaker Leni Riefenstahl as she attempts to recast herself as a misunderstood victim while rationalizing her notorious past. The August 2023 run featured three performances: Fri Aug 4 at 7:00 pm, Sat Aug 5 at 7:00 pm, and Sun Aug 6 at 2:00 pm.
