We Are Still Here is an original theatrical play written, directed, and produced by Leigh Podgorski. The production was presented as part of the CSUSM Arts and Lectures Series and hosted at the California Center for the Arts, Escondido. A defining artistic element of this staging is its commitment to authentic representation, featuring an all–Native American cast to bring the historical and cultural narratives to life. The event was made accessible to the community with free admission, supported in part by a Lottery Grant.
