This double-bill dance evening, titled "Loops," explores the thematic imagery of circling and flowing, inspired by Robert Musil’s idea that the flow of time carries its own banks with it. Two distinct choreographic voices interpret these concepts through contemporary dance: Giuseppe Spota’s BLANK and Yuki Mori’s LOOPS. A unified design by Monika Frenz connects both works visually, shaping a coherent world across differing aesthetics. Spota’s piece grows from minimal beginnings toward kinetic variety, while Mori’s contribution focuses on emotionally charged episodes. Before each performance, the theater offered a free 30-minute introduction in the upper foyer to deepen audience engagement with the evening’s abstract themes.
