The Intimidation Game

The Intimidation Game is an original anti-bullying musical created by The Miracle Project and presented at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills. The fully inclusive production features teens and young adults with and without autism and other disabilities performing alongside non-disabled peers. Inspired by the participants’ own stories of bullying and social exclusion, the musical was developed through collaborative workshops. Rehearsals ran from January 19 to May 17, 2016, culminating in public performances on May 22–24. Conceived and directed by Elaine Hall, with music and lyrics by Zachary Marsh (who also served as music director), the work exemplifies a community-centered creation process and advocates for understanding, inclusion, and compassion.
