The OB Idol

The OB Idol (老男孩) is an original musical by 3Aqua Theatre (三點水製藝文化), co-organized with ComeOnCreative. It tells a story of reunion and return centered on a former late-1990s boy band. Directed and choreographed by Benson LIN, the show blends musical staging with dramatic storytelling. The creative team features Wang-shih CHUN as Playwright and Chiang-po JEN as Script Coordinator and Lyricist, with Kan-ho SHIANG composing and arranging the original score. Vocal direction is led by Sunny LEE and En-lin TSAI as Vocal Coaches. The eight-performer cast includes Ctwo, KAO Min-hai, Kacaw Iyang, TSAI En-lin, SU Chih-hsiang, SUN Wei-hao, HSU Jia-you, and ZHAN Yu-cheng. The musical is recommended for ages 4+ (children under 7 accompanied by an adult). It was scheduled at the Weiwuying Playhouse in Kaohsiung for July 5–6, 2025, with ticketing via OPENTIX, but the run was subsequently cancelled.
