About

Da pacem is a sacred vocal concert conceived as a symbolic liturgy. The musical trajectory moves from supplication to hope, with Gregorian antiphons as the recurring thread. These antiphons are placed in dialogue with Renaissance polyphony, expressive sacred writing, and a contemporary creation by Davide Tramontano. The performance is built around Coro Ghislieri under Giulio Prandi, with Maria Cecilia Farina on organ. Singing moves through the sacred space like a sonic pilgrimage, beginning with the Gregorian Kyrie in procession. The male voices of Coro Ghislieri form the Schola Gregoriana Ghislieri, directed by Renato Cadel.
