The premiere of The Rostov Mystery was held on the 30th of June 1982. In the musical performance that he created, a struggle between sin and virtue, which is so clear and impresses with its dramatic power, leads to a bright and natural ending. “Life, given from heaven, be blessed!”, these are the words the main character, Human Nature, utters as he completes his journey in The Rostov Mystery.
