NOOMA is an interactive opera created especially for babies and toddlers (ages 0–2), inviting them into an expanding and contracting world shaped by breath. Colorful parachutes swell and settle like inhalation and exhalation, turning the space into an intimate landscape for play and discovery. Conceived as a vocal circus, the piece offers sounds, words, gestures, and objects that are echoed and transformed in real time. It blurs the boundary between performers and audience, celebrating the shared joy of making music together. The title nods to the ancient Greek pneuma—breath and spirit—signaling the work’s core theme and sensory focus.
