Mirage

Mirage is an operatic adaptation of a play by James Galloway. Opera Southwest presented it during its 31st season (2002–2003). Conceived as a children’s opera, the project was supported by grants from the National Endowment for the Arts. Galloway authored both music and libretto, reshaping his own drama for the operatic stage. The production formed part of Opera Southwest’s commitment to engaging young audiences with contemporary, locally created work and arts education.
