The world premiere of “Never odd or eveN” by Canadian choreographic duo David Raymond & Tiffany Tregarthen and French composer Angèle David‑Guillou fuses dance and music into a poetic visual experience. Using the two-part structure of a palindrome—something that reads the same forwards and backwards—the work explores the nuances between supposed opposites such as black and white, beginning and end. Surprise, mystery, and powerful emotion drive a journey through rhythm, sound, and movement, with an original score performed live by the Hessisches Staatsorchester Wiesbaden.
