Ecce Homo

Ecce homo is a one-act ballet composed by José Berghmans with choreography by Joseph Lazzini. The production premiered on April 16, 1972, at the Teatr Wielki in Warsaw as part of a mixed bill titled Cztery balety (Four Ballets), which also included La Valse, E=mc2, and Cudowny mandaryn. The staging featured set and costume designs by Iwo Dobiecki, with Zygmunt Sidło serving as the assistant choreographer. The ballet incorporates distinct character roles, notably Christ and Judas, indicating a narrative structure centered around biblical passion motifs. The production ran for a total of 19 performances.
