About

Accordrone is a contemporary electroacoustic concert curated by the Sacrum Profanum Festival in cooperation with Bôłt Records. Built around the accordion and electronics, the program continues the festival’s exploration of Julius Eastman’s music while opening a Polish–Lithuanian dialogue to mark the centenary of Lithuanian independence. The event features two world premieres and two Polish premieres across a 69‑minute arc. Its centerpiece is a newly commissioned arrangement of Eastman’s Evil Nigger for four accordions by Piotr Peszat. Works by Katarzyna Głowicka, Egidija Medekšaitė, and Antanas Jasenka frame the program’s social and sonic focus, combining live accordions with tape and electroacoustics. Presented late at night at the Małopolska Garden of Arts (Scena MOS) in Krakow, the concert offers an immersive, high‑intensity listening experience.
