DUA is a contemporary ballet choreographed by Taulant Shehu and performed by the TKOB Ballet Company. It was announced as the work's first presentation in Albania, with performances at the National Theatre of Opera and Ballet in Tirana on 8 and 9 October 2022. The choreography draws on Albanian folklore, especially wedding dances and traditions, combining authentic folkloric elements with contemporary dance. The wedding ritual is used as the central staging framework. The production contrasts public celebration, joy, union and permanence with conflict, solitude, disagreement and drama. Arne Stiven composed the music, which also references traditional Albanian instruments and cultural origins.
