Swinging Music

Swinging music was presented at Teatr Wielki in Warsaw as part of a composite ballet evening titled K + S + 2P. The first half featured four choreographies by Marta Bochenek: Etiudy baletowe to music by Krzysztof Komeda Trzciński, Swinging music to music by Kazimierz Serocki, and two works to music by Krzysztof Penderecki: Capriccio and Kwartet smyczkowy. The unified visual concept for the evening was created by Marek Lewandowski, who designed both sets and costumes, with lighting by Stanisław Zięba. The second half of the program consisted of Jerzy Makarowski’s Mane-Thekel-Fares to music by Eugeniusz Rudnik.
