The event "Trio for violin, cello and piano" is part of the 4th Greek National Opera Online Festival titled "Mediterranean Desert", curated by Giorgos Koumendakis. Running from 12 to 26 April 2021, the festival presents four special recitals on GNO TV, streamed for free. The videos remain available for 30 days after their premiere. The festival is made possible by a grant from the Stavros Niarchos Foundation to enhance the Greek National Opera’s artistic outreach. The artistic direction invited leading music and visual artists to present their readings of Greek composers’ works, united by an overarching sense of the sea.
