The Outsiders

About

The official North American tour of the 2024 Tony Award-winning Best Musical, The Outsiders, brings S.E. Hinton’s classic story to the stage with a book by Adam Rapp with Justin Levine and music and lyrics by Jamestown Revival (Jonathan Clay & Zach Chance) and Justin Levine. Directed by Tony Award winner Danya Taymor with choreography by Rick and Jeff Kuperman, the production evokes the gritty world of 1967 Tulsa through design by AMP featuring Tatiana Kahvegian, costumes by Sarafina Bush, lighting by Brian MacDevitt, and sound by Cody Spencer. Projection design by Hana S. Kim and special effects by Jeremy Chernick and Lillis Meeh deepen the show’s immersive atmosphere.
