Out of Time is a contemporary dance double-bill created amid the surreal circumstances of 2020. The title evokes the suspended, in-between feeling of the pandemic era and the search for a new normal. The program underscores the irreplaceable value of live performing arts and the unique moments shared by artists and audiences. It brings together two contrasting works linked by their common genesis: reflections on life, hope, memory, and the passage of time. Curated under the artistic direction of GöteborgsOperans Danskompani, the evening seeks to offer new hope and renewed perspectives on the world. Fortet features spoken English with Swedish surtitles, while Continuim includes a short segment with non-stroboscopic flashing lights.
