Part of the 2026 New York City Center Encores! series, this revival of Michael John LaChiusa and George C. Wolfe’s The Wild Party presents the musical in Encores!’ signature concert staging. Directed by Lili-Anne Brown, the limited run puts The Encores! Orchestra at the center while showcasing a star ensemble cast. The creative team includes guest music director Daryl Waters and choreographer Katie Spelman, with designs by Arnel Sancianco (scenic), Linda Cho (costumes), Justin Townsend (lighting), and Alex Neumann (sound). Recommended for ages 16+, the production contains depictions of drug use, violence, gun shots, sexual acts, and partial nudity. Approximate runtime: 2 hours, no intermission.
