So Away They Went is a provocative and irreverent snapshot of college life in 2010. This agitprop musical collides french fries, pop songs, loaded guns, lost faculty, and lots of dirty dancing into a campus gone mad. As tuition soars, relationships fray, and an evil troll plots to take over the universe, a group of students fights to survive the chaos. Created by Ryan Pavelchik and directed by Josh Chambers, the production featured an all-CSUSM student cast and was supported in part by a CSUSM IRA grant.
