Patio Playhouse Community Theater presents Nuncrackers: The Nunsense Christmas Musical, a holiday spin-off of Dan Goggin’s beloved Nunsense franchise. Staged at the Patio Playhouse Theater in Escondido, the production is directed by Tim Arends and embraces an intimate community-theater setting to deliver a family-friendly seasonal experience. A cast of nine brings the Little Sisters of Hoboken and Father Virgil to life, joined by three young performers as students from Mount Saint Helen’s. Designed as a basement-level TV studio setup, the production invites the audience to serve as the on-site studio audience for the show’s taping. With warm holiday spirit and the franchise’s trademark irreverent humor, this staging aims to entertain longtime fans and newcomers alike throughout the festive season.
