Heart Wall is a bittersweet, tender new drama that explores the long tail of grief and the fickleness of memory. Set in the North West of England, the production invites audiences into a local pub world of pints, Motown, and karaoke. It asks where people go when the walls start closing in and home becomes unrecognisable. Directed by Bush Theatre Associate Director Katie Greenall, the creative team includes set and costume design by Hazel Low, lighting by Simisola Majekodunmi and sound design/composition by Mwen. The staging creates a familiar pub atmosphere that contrasts with the quiet unravelling of a family’s buried secrets. Recommended for ages 14+.
