Directed by Geoffrey Sherman, this 2018 staging of Sir Alan Ayckbourn’s classic modern comedy embraces the swingin’ England of 1969. The production explores sexual politics, class distinctions, and the complexities of marriage through a fast-paced, farcical lens, while grounding the humor in believable human relationships. Scenic designer Marty Burnett created two overlapping living rooms on a single set so that two households can unfold simultaneously. Lighting by Matthew Novotny and sound design by Aaron Rumley maintain clear atmospheres for each household.
