Oblivion Rhapsody is a celebratory show marking the first ten years of touring by the theatrical and musical quintet Oblivion. Directed by Giorgio Gallione, it works as a best‑of that condenses the group’s universe into an unprecedented acoustic version of their repertoire: five voices, one guitar, and their trademark rapid‑fire deconstruction and reconstruction of words, sounds and notes. Stripped of theatrical safety nets, the staging gives shape to their subversive comedy across parodies that range from classic literature to popular music. New to this edition is History of Rock, a six‑minute micro‑musical in which the quintet becomes an a cappella rock band to race through 53 iconic tracks by 50 artists from 1955 to today, blending Italian, English and onomatopoeic sounds.
