Atlas Song

In Atlas Song, dance and live music merge in an innovative, poetic, and imaginative expression. Created by international choreographers Imre and Marne van Opstal in close collaboration with singer-composer Anna von Hausswolff, the piece places music at the core of the stage action. GöteborgsOperans Danskompani performs alongside seven live musicians, with von Hausswolff herself appearing on stage. Originally developed with the Gothenburg Dance and Theatre Festival in 2024, the work now returns to the main stage ahead of a planned European tour.
