With a bright and festive concert, the Athens Philharmonic Orchestra's "Symphonic Evenings" cycle continues at the Ioannis Despotopoulos Amphitheater of the Athens Conservatory, and with it the fruitful collaboration of the two leading players in Greek musical life. A large symphony orchestra, a children's and a mixed youth choir will fill the amphitheater space and the hearts of those lucky enough to be there with glitter and music. Lovely melodies, classic and modern, festive and overwhelming, suitable for the festive atmosphere of the holy days of Christmas, form the program of this special concert of the Athens Philharmonia. It is a message of peace and hope to all, courage in a time when clouds of war are gathering more and more menacingly. Christmas celebration at the Athens Conservatory with works by Strauss, Tchaikovsky, Mascani, Scalkottas, Gounod, Mozart, Haydn, Brahms, Schubert, Rossini, Bizet, Ramirez and favorite holiday tunes that everyone will sing!
