Rizoom!

Rizoom! is a family performance in which a community of dancers and musicians seeks to give loss a place and a shape. Created by choreographer Iris Bouche and musician Kobe Proesmans (The Colorist Orchestra), the piece centers on connection and the mutual support found within a group. Movement and live music interweave organically, like a non-hierarchical rhizome in which each participant is equally vital. The result is a consoling, collective space where body and sound continually sustain and respond to one another.
