The Magic Key

In 2003, the French hip-hop/house project One-T released the one-hit wonder “The Magic Key.” The project features a group of virtual characters from a specially created comic world. They are all young and reflect on life (money, hatred, hunger, pain). Are they already dead? Did they enjoy their lives? In any case, they always had each other. Then a message reaches them: Music is an odyssey. It is here for you and me. Just listen to me, find the magic key! The journey begins. At the heart of the work by the directing duo Marthe Meinhold & Marius Schötz are always the participants in the production. In open-ended conversations, everyone involved exchanges wishes, dreams and interests. If everyone agrees, what is found becomes the content of the production.
