About

Cossoc is a site-aware duet conceived for outdoor contexts. The choreography explores the complexity and simplicity of a relationship between two bodies working in close partnering, privileging intimate physical contact and attentive listening to the surroundings. The piece integrates with the urban environment and invites audiences to shift from a passing glance to sustained observation. With a slow, concentrative tempo, the two creators modulate proximity and balance to generate suggestive gestures and images rather than narrative episodes. Minimal staging lets the bodies and their relational exchanges respond to the site—here, the old Turia riverbed between two bridges—rather than to a constructed set.
