PARADISE is a concert program by Chanticleer, a San Francisco-based vocal ensemble of 12 singers. The event is presented as an a cappella performance rather than a staged opera or theatrical production. The musical material spans Renaissance music, classical repertoire, jazz, gospel, spirituals, and contemporary compositions. The artistic concept concerns humanity's longing for an ideal, expressed through visions of a perfect world, perfect love, or a perfect future. The printed repertoire is explicitly subject to change.
