Tinderiada is a 100% original musical created for the Ion Dacian National Operetta and Musical Theatre in Bucharest. It fuses the hyper-connected world of dating apps with Greek mythology to explore what it means to be a teenager in the 21st century. Directed, choreographed, and designed by Rareș Fota, with music by Cristian Mihai and lyrics by Minioneta Georoiu, the show channels the dizzying pulse of virtual life—Tinder matches, texting, image filters—into a vibrant, dance-driven stage language. Developed in collaboration with Victory of Art, the production targets a youth audience and mirrors contemporary social dynamics with humor, energy, and mythological flair.
