ARTEMIS is a professional jazz engagement presented by La Jolla Music Society as part of its 2026–2027 season and the Jazz Mini-Festival. The all-female supergroup—pianist/musical director Renee Rosnes, trumpeter Ingrid Jensen, tenor saxophonist Nicole Glover, bassist Noriko Ueda, and drummer Allison Miller—performs bold originals and inspired arrangements that honor the jazz tradition while advancing it. Formed after a breakout Newport Jazz Festival appearance, the ensemble records for Blue Note Records and has been named DownBeat Readers Poll Jazz Group of the Year in 2023, 2024, and 2025. Their 2025 Blue Note album ARBORESQUE topped the JazzWeek National Radio Charts for five weeks. The concert takes place in the Baker-Baum Concert Hall at The Conrad, with a Pre-Show Prelude at 6:30 PM in The JAI offering drinks and a guest-led discussion before the 7:30 PM performance.
