Herod

For the first time in Szczecin, at the Mieczysław Karłowicz Philharmonic, the rock opera "Herod" arrived straight from Ukraine’s capital. The event was organized as an expression of gratitude to the Polish people for their ongoing support to Ukrainians in the face of war. The concert was presented in cooperation with the Ukrainian Bucha Help Foundation and the Mi-Gracja Association, with support from the Szczecin Philharmonic and Teatr KANA. The production was given in a concert version. The soloists performed with musical accompaniment (from a phonogram) alongside a visual sequence complementing the stage action. All proceeds from ticket sales were donated to humanitarian aid for families fleeing the war in Ukraine.
