Petrov : A Cold War Opera

This workshop presentation of a micro‑electronic opera was co-presented by Synchromy and The Wende Museum. Staged within the Wende Museum’s Cold War setting, the 15-minute semi-staged opera used projections and an electronic sound world to heighten its dramatic focus. To frame the piece, the event included a pre-concert talk on Mutually Assured Destruction by Laurie Hart and Dan Treisman and a curatorial tour of the museum led by Chief Curator Joes Segal. Audience feedback was actively invited through questionnaires and a post-show session, underscoring the developmental nature of the project.
