Katarzyna Minkowska’s staging of Shakespeare’s Der Sturm interrogates patriarchal and colonial power. The production shifts the focus toward Miranda, Ferdinand, and Caliban, asking what future Miranda inherits from Prospero and whether she wants to accept it. It explores how change can be made when the only available tools are inherited structures, outdated assumptions, and traditional methods. The creative team includes Marta Zając (set), Jana Krynicka (costumes), Krystyna Lama Szydłowska (choreography), Wojciech Frycz (music), and Urška Brodar (dramaturgy).
