Directed by Ludmila de Brito, CSUSM School of Arts presents Henrik Ibsen’s Hedda Gabler in Patrick Marber’s modern translation. The production explores themes of entrapment, personal agency, and the dangers of forcing people into conformity. Built by a creative team of CSUSM students, alumni, and San Diego theatre professionals — including set design by Samantha Rojales and sound design by Marilynn Do — the staging runs a concise 90 minutes. Content guidance: suicide and alcoholism; recommended for audiences 18+. The venue enforces no late seating.
