Octopus

OctOpus is an acrobatic fanfare created by Cheptel Aleïkoum and Circa Tsuica. Eight musician‑acrobats merge live music with circus technique, turning brass, percussion and bicycles into extensions of their movement. The show runs for about one hour and is designed for audiences aged six and up. Its sound world draws on eclectic original writing, New Orleans jazz energy, and echoes of Balkan brass traditions rather than a fixed concert repertoire. Collective lifts, balances and swirling bike formations unfold in constantly shifting, playful situations where music drives the action.
